This is probably a very embarrassing discovery, since I have been using the WordPress for almost two years now. I just figured out how to use the advanced toolbar when writing a post or a page.

Time for a change. After about 18 months I have replaced the old theme by Vermario with the new one - Cleaker by Adam Cleaveland.

WordPress 2.2 has been officially released earlier today. Apart from over 200 security fixes, these are the most notable changes and improvements:
WordPress Widgets allow you to easily rearrange and customize areas of your weblog (usually sidebars) with drag-and-drop simplicity.
Full Atom support, including Atom feeds 1.0 and implementation of the Atom Publishing API.

If you work with WordPress on a regular basis you really need to setup Apache, MySQL, PHP, and WordPress on your machine - it makes developing themes, plug ins, and new blogs much simpler and (almost) all of your mistakes can be fixed before you go live.
