Gmail loads too slow – speed it up.

Quite a few Gmail and GAFYD (Google applications for your domain) users are complaining that it takes way too log to load webmail page, you know the one at www.gmail.com. Well, same here.

I use GAFYD but it takes about 6-8 seconds to load the page once I click the link in my Favourites. Comparing this to Yahoo Mail and Hotmail, it’s easily 3-4 times longer.

I followed a number of suggestions such as clearing the browser cache, removing Google Labs applications, disabling browser extensions and what not, but no luck.  However, I have found that disabling browser check speeds things enormously. All you need to do is use the link below, it works fine with both Gmail and GAFYD.

Now Gmail loads in about 2 seconds, pretty much same as Yahoo Mail and Hotmail.
