Safari AdBlock
Wed, 5 December 2007
Safari AdBlock blocks ads in Safari. It is free of charge and under the GPL license. Safari AdBlock is meant to be extremely simple to use: there is nothing to configure, no filter list to manage, no regular expression, it just works out of the box!

Safari AdBlock works only with Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) and can be downloaded via SourceForge.

much looked forward to this. But installed it on Leopard and Safari keeps crashing. Tried un-installing but it still crashes. — Any ideas?

I like this. I installed it yesterday and have noticed almost no ads getting through–even Flash ones. At first I thought I still had Flash disabled (I had done this some time ago with SafariBlock), but that wasn’t the case. Much, much better than the combination of disabled Flash and userContent.css file I’ve been using thus far.
