If using a MacBook (Mid 2007) with an external display (such as an Apple Cinema Display), you may notice that if the menu bar is set to the external display, waking the computer from clamshell mode may temporarily prevent the internal display from displaying video.
Products affected

Solution
- Press F7 on the MacBook keyboard to temporarily restore video on the internal display.
- Save any unsaved data and restart the computer.
Let’s hope there is software / firmware update for this before much longer.

Isn’t this TYPICAL Apple! Probably has to do with Apple’s long obsession with NOT MAKING ANYTHING with their name on it and using Low Bidder contractors to engineer and make their iBooks through MacBooks …. Now in Red China’s sweatshop factories.
I’ve reasd that Apple’s Profit (not the dealers) on the MacBooks is nearly 21%, thanks to the price fixing all Apple dealers must adhere to and that Apple sells directly. No other PC notebook maker is able to maintain that kind of profit because of fair competition between brands. Most analysts report that companies like HP and Dell see as little are 6% profit per unit before expenses.
Wonder when Apple will be giving Stevie another new multi-million dollar jet?

I had a BIG problem with my 15.4″ mac book pro display last night.
I use boot camp to run windows and need to connect to a projector, usually fine.
Last night, the MAC would only extend the desktop to the projector display NOT
mirror at as I normally do. Had to reboot in MAC OS X to get the notebook to mirror, that was fine.
When I went back into windows the display was all garbled with the wrong colours on screen and couldn’t get it back ti normal. Worse than that when I reboot into MAC OS it is still garbled!!!!
