When photos are selected, and File -> Export is chosen, Picasa is not listed in the tabs to export. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! I've started using lightroom and i'm not going back to iphoto. but my photos are spread between a couple hard drives (i am e-messy) the export thing stalls after about 5000 photos exported (half way through the whole library) any idea? thanks :) great site, bookmarked :)

It's a minor obsession of mine! Open iPhoto in Events view. Now click one event, say Holiday. On the left, under Recent, the first item will be event you have just selected - Holiday. Click on it and it will expand in the preview pane on right. Now click on any photo on the right and press Command-A on your keyboard. Now that you have selected all photos in that event, click File | Export and follow the usual way to export. You will have to create a folder called Holiday on your desktop, though.
