Display the current date in the iCal icon

One good thing about iCal is that is shows the current date in the Dock icon. But … only when iCal is running. Otherwise, it will show the 17th, and you are quite free to pick the month for yourself.
This is where iConiCal comes to the recsue. iConiCal is a simple utility for setting iCal’s icon and dock icon to show the current date in a choice of colours. This applies whether iCal is open or closed.
iConiCal is donationware and can be downloaded via BlockSoft’s website.

Great find! Now I may start to use iCal more often, or at least keep it in my dock so I have a quick glance at the date.
