Yahoo! Messenger for Mac 3.0 Beta 1 released

Finally! Even though only the first beta still better than the ‘progress’ over the past few years.

The new messenger has a very nice interface, iSight support and supports file transfer, but guess what - still no voice option. Hopefully by the time of the full release someone will tell Yahoo that since late 20th century Mac users can use microphones as well.

Yahoo also promises that Mac users using Yahoo IM will be able to communicate with friends that use Windows Live™ (MSN) Messenger.
