iTunes Latino
Tue, 7 November 2006

Apple has created a dedicated area for Latin music and video in the U.S. version of its iTunes music store, including the music from several Latin influenced genres.
Rather than simply putting all Latin music in one general section, iTunes has distinguished the songs and albums according to genre.
Apple will offer Latin music in several genres, including local styles such as ‘Regional Mexicano’ as well as contemporary music styles like Rock Alternativo, Baladas y Boleros, Pop Latino, Reggaeton, and Hip-Hop. People can find songs by leading Latino artists like David Bisbal, Daddy Yankee, Aterciopelado, Marco Antonio Solis, and Paulina Rubio.
In addition to music the section will have music videos, television shows, audio books, and podcasts.

Right! The big problem now is how to get a latino down south to buy the music from iTunes! THEY WON’T ACCEPT OUR BRAZILIAN CREDIT CARDS!! Please, please, change these policies! They’re awful!! Only a few Western countries are allowed to buy songs from iTunes. Please, come on!
