Apple addresses MacBook Pro whine problem
Fri, 28 July 2006
In a short statement on their support site, Apple addresses the problem with whining MacBook Pro. There is only one sentence - If your 15-inch MacBook Pro emits a high-pitched buzzing sound, please contact AppleCare for service. No further explanation, just that - contact AppleCare.
After six months of high pitch buzz Apple could also offer a few free tunes to sooth the ears of their loyal customers. What do you think, Steve ? Steve! Steeeeve !!! Hello … ?

Bitter experience has taught me not to buy a new product as soon as it hits the streets. This is the period when the product gets field tested and we are the effectively their testers - wait a while before leaping in.
